Member onboarding

Connect an approved device.

Use the stable Cloudflare One Client and your approved SCU email to join TheCloudLab’s private network.

Before you begin

  • Your SCU email must already be approved for TheCloudLab access.
  • You need permission to install software on your device.
  • Use a currently supported Windows, macOS, or Linux release.

Enroll

  1. Install the stable client.
Download the current stable Cloudflare One Client from Cloudflare’s official download page.
  2. Start the team login.
Open the Cloudflare One Client and select Profile. Under Cloudflare One team login, find Cloudflare One Client and select Continue. If another team is already listed, sign out of it first.
  3. Enter the team name.
    Use thecloudlab exactly as shown.
  4. Authenticate.
Complete the browser sign-in with your approved SCU email, then allow the browser to reopen the Cloudflare One Client.
  5. Connect.
Confirm the client shows Connected. If auto-connect is disabled, turn the connection on manually.

Verify

The client should show the organization and a Connected state. Command-line users can also run warp-cli registration show to confirm enrollment.

Split access is expected. TheCloudLab routes only approved private resources through the client, so an unrelated public website may not report that WARP is carrying its traffic.

Troubleshooting

  • Wrong organization: sign out of the current Cloudflare One account, then enroll again with thecloudlab.
  • Enrollment rejected: confirm you used the approved SCU email. Ask a lab administrator to verify access rather than retrying with another account.
  • Connected but a private resource does not open: reconnect the client once, then include the resource name and time of the attempt when asking for help.

For platform-specific details, use Cloudflare’s manual deployment guide.
